Description

Great lot of 64 glossy paper picture cards, each 2x2.75". Mexican issue from 1966. Cards are from a scarce set named "Bati Album" and feature a wide assortment of images, all unique to this set (not a reuse of image from Topps sets as was the case with other foreign albums). There are a number of larger "puzzle" images consisting of multiple picture cards. Contents include various "Bat" vehicles, weapons and gadgets along with Batcave views, while characters include Batman & Robin, Alfred, Batwoman, Joker, Comm. Gordon, Chief O'Hara, Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Riddler, Bookworm, and others. Images obviously inspired by the TV series. Cards were never mounted or pasted to the album or any other surface, so they are in very good shape with no paper remains on the back. Normal margin wear and lite creases. Some yellowing or moisture marks on the back of some of the cards. Our last picture is from the actual album where these cards belongs, we have included that image as a reference only, but the album is not included in this auction.
