Bug-Juice is an insecticide paint additive that is designed to kill flying and crawling insects that alight on most interior and all exterior surfaces.
Where can Bug-Juice be applied?
Bug-Juice can be applied on most interior and exterior surfaces, including kitchens and pantries.
Does Bug-Juice Repel Bugs?
Bug-Juice does not repel insects, it is a contact pesticide. It begins to work after an insect makes contact with the treated surface.
What kind of bugs does it kill?
Bug-Juice kills crawling and flying insects ranging from ants to mosquitoes and cockroaches to silverfish and weevil.
Will it affect the appearance of the finish?
Bug-Juice will not effect the color or drying time of the coating.
What maintenance is involved?
It is recommended that you hose off the treated surface with water twice a year. This provides a clean surface for insects to land on.
Does Bug-Juice have an odor?
No.
What type of coating can Bug-Juice be mixed with?
Bug-Juice can be added to any oil or latex-based paint, stain, or sealant.
HOW BUG JUICE WORKS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
Bug-Juice, insecticide additive, is a contact insecticide additive.   When Bug-Juice is added to either a paint, stain, or sealant and then the treated coating is applied to the surface, Bug-Juice bonds with the matrix of the coating, becomes encapsulated; and as the coating dries, Bug-Juice becomes suspended within the coating.
When bugs land on the Bug-Juice treated coating on the surface, the bugs have pads on the bottom of their feet which is their mucus membrane system.  The bugs emit a mucus from their mucus membrane system to stay on the surface.  The bugs absorb through that mucus, and then the mucus is taken back into the bug’s mucus membrane system and circulates throughout their system in one to three hours.  This is how the bugs absorb the Bug-Juice, and then the bugs die.  It takes about one to three hours for the bugs to die.
Bug-Juice is not a repellant, but rather Bug-Juice is a contact insecticide additive.  The surface that has the Bug-Juice treated coating applied to it must be kept clean of the dead bugs.
