Use 2 - 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.
A 25 lb bag treats approx. 8,000 sq. ft. or approx. one-quarter acre.
With an innovative formulation process, the granular perimeter treatment of Demand® G provides powerful and efficient protection against nearly 30 species of pests.
Granule perimeter treatments are typically applied in a band of up to five feet wide around the house and can be applied to soil, ornamental plants, mulch, and lawn.
Each treatment last for several months, with an average of 3 months. Reapplication may be necessary depending on the severity of the pest problem, climate, and other factors.
Demand G Insecticide may be used for applications to maintain outdoor areas where turf and ornamental ground covers are grown such as residential landscaped areas and non-residential land­scapes around institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields. Also for use around structures and landscapes on areas of bare soil, mulched areas or vegetation not being grown for food use.
For control of ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, firebrats, millipedes, mites, silverfish, sowbugs and other listed pest commonly found around or near foundation of structures as well as in yards. Certain of these pests may enter houses. Applying a continual band of insecticide around a building foundation can greatly reduce the potential for entry by crawling pests. For optimal control, remove debris and leaf litter from next to the foundation, cut back vegetation and branches that touch the foundation, and move or rake back rocks, deep mulch, or other potential pest harborage next to the foundation prior to application. Apply a 5 to 10 foot band of granules next to the structure foundation. Apply at the rate of 2 to 3 lbs. per 1000 square feet. Distribute granules uniformly. For optimal control, water lightly to release the active ingredient from the granules.
