Description
The Greenlee DVM-80 (52074161) DigiVolt Digital Dual Stick Phasing Voltmeter with Overhead Hook Probes, 50V to 40kV, is a compact, high accuracy digital voltmeter and phasing instrument designed to measure voltages up to 40kV and up to 80kV when used with a pair of add-on resistors (sold separately). The two-stick design can be used in both overhead and underground applications. The digital meter displays the true RMS voltage on the conductor.
The DVM-80 phasing voltmeter incorporates Phase Accurate Technology, which makes all voltage readings accurate and repeatable to within 1%, whether made from line-to-line or line-to-ground.
The DVM-80 requires one 9V lithium or alkaline battery, which powers the unit and activates the backlight. The meter will shut off automatically a few minutes after the display reads zero, but not while voltage measurements are being made. The unit has a 0.4 in. LCD display that indicates 3-1/2 digits.
