    Description

    Mohawk M545-4086 Wiping Wood™ Stain Cherry is a semi-transparent, pigment and solvent-based stain that is non-grain raising, fade resistant, and easy to stir, with a soft-settling formula. Application can be made by spray, rag or brush. Only 30 minutes drying time is needed before a lacquer sealer coat can be sprayed. Pigmented Wiping Stains are easier to control because there's less lapping. An ideal uniforming stain when applied over dye stains prior to sealing.
    This stain's permanent colors will never bleed through the finish. Virtually any finish can be applied over Wiping Wood™ Stain: lacquer, shellac, varnish, polyurethane, acrylics and many others. Open work time can be increased by adding Wood Stain Retarder. A dark colortone is easily lightened with Wood Stain Reducer S-15. Ultra fine ground pigments for maximum color yield. HAP's compliant. Contains 1 Quart. USA
