Description
Vintage Electronics Measurements Corp Vacuum Tube Voltmeter model 62 serial 465.According to Radiomuseum.org, the Measurements Corporation of Boonton NJ, was considered one of the outstanding developers and manufacturers of a precision line of laboratory standards designed for radio, television and many other branches of the electronic industry. The Corporation only operated from 1940 to 1954. It was purchased by Thomas A. Edison Incorporated of West Orange, New Jersey.
Body is metal and Bakelite. Glass face.
Some scratching and paint loss to the metal body; minor discoloration to the paper under the glass. White specs on Bakelite in photo are dust.
There are two cords coming from the voltmeter. One is a power cord and the other is a cord with a porcelain "plug" made by RCA numbered 6H6 "for renewal use only".
Cords are supple, not brittle - power cord has some wear, see photo.
