I’m close to the bottom of my mouthpiece box, and I found one more HN White King 28 mouthpiece.
THIS MOUTHPIECE LOOKS AND PLAYS GREAT!
I just tried this on my 1947 King 2B trombone and it is amazing!
The 1
st
position Bb, D and high F all were perfectly in tune!
I’ve never had a mouthpiece play that well in tune.
It is similar in size to the Bach 11, but plays much better in tune.
It produces a great tone.
My 2B just “sings’ with this mouthpiece.
These also work well with small shank baritones or euphoniums.
They were the stock mouthpieces for the HN White King trombones and bell-front baritones (euphoniums).
This is the stock mouthpiece the HN White Co. designed for the King 2B and 3B trombones.
Those guys must have really known what they were doing!
These are rare and collectable mouthpieces.
